Timothy K. Johnston DDS
Dr. Timothy Johnston has been featured on Good Morning America, recipient of the Healthcare Heroes Award, 2015 and is the official Cosmetic Dentist to the Miss. and Mrs. Virginia Pageant.
After graduating from dental school in 1989, Dr. Johnston embarked on the epic journey of building a private practice from the ground up. While he never specifically set out to inspire others to give great dental care, he always wanted to have his own practice, and he studied diligently on the best ways to do that. Since then, he’s mastered enough techniques and improved enough systems to train entire legions of dentists. And he has if you count the hundreds of dental students he taught for 17 years at his alma mater, the Medical College of Virginia, as well as the groups of practicing dentists who have attended his professional development seminars.
“I’m constantly researching materials, techniques and technology to find what’s best for our patients. I want to know what’s stronger, lasts longer, & looks better. Our patients can trust we’ve done the research.” Learn More
Colleen M. Moreno DDS
“I’ve always known I wanted to work in health care. I love creating a rapport with patients and being a part of their community.”
Giving back to the community has always been something close to Dr. Moreno’s heart. She volunteered at local free clinics throughout college. She completed a general practice residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VAMC in Cleveland, OH, providing quality dental care to our U.S. veterans. She has participated in various Mission of Mercy Projects in Virginia as well as in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
Aside from the personal exchange with patients, Dr. Moreno’s favorite thing about dentistry is being able to help patients rehabilitate neglected teeth. She works with each patient to ensure top-notch quality care that is custom-fit for him or her. No two patients are alike!
A native of the Philippines, Dr. Moreno moved to the United States with her family when she was just eleven years old. She hails from a family of high achievers, but is the first dentist. She excelled academically in both high school and in college. She attended the Ohio State University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She received her D.D.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University. Learn More
